Graduating from high school and college with honors he has continued his broadcasting
career. Many organizations regard his motivational messages and consulting a great plus to
positive growth. Dr. Mark Muirhead is the president of a non-profit organization called

Dexter "LoveBoat" Williams
One of the world's greatest basketball handlers!
Dexter had a 4.0 grade average, and 40 points a game in his junior varsity
year! He never played high school varsity basketball! He went on to Hampton University and
set the school's 3 point scoring record, 10 in a row off the bench! Dexter's fame was
launched by playing with the best of the Globetrotters in a touring team called the Harlem
Legends and Harlem Road Kings. He lives in Morehead City, North Carolina.

While touring with the "Harlem Legends," some of the greatest Harlem
Globetrotters of all time, Dexter also created his own ball-handling show to inspire,
encourage, and motivate youth. As one of the world's greatest ball handlers, Dexter has
performed around the world using his unique skills that take Globetrotter basketball to a
new level. Dexter's love for youth compels him to challenge them to find the gifts and
talents they all have, and to work hard to be the best they can be.
PLEASE NOTE:
The WORLD WIDE FLaVOR present a motivational program to fit the school schedule. The
program can be presented in 15 to 30 minutes. Mark uses a variety of methods to connect
with students. He is well known for giving students a reason to cheer! Mark uses humor and
story telling to convey the topics mentioned on this page. Dexter and Mark interact on
their program topics. Dexter will use basketball handling demonstrations (mentioned below
concerning his performance routine). All programs end with a basketball demonstration live
video by Dexter.
There is also a presentation on suicide available. See what the
principal from Richey, Montana said on the Principal Speaks/high school page.
This is a four minute sound effect segment concerning the day a young high school football
player ended his life. A strong, and sobering talk about life and death. This is done by
reqest only.
Please note on completion of the program, the WORLD WIDE
FLaVOR sign autographs. Allow time for this interaction. Also Mark and Dexter have picture
to sign for $2.00. They will sign the picture personally for each student. This brings a
very positive impact for your students.
Purchases are made by students, and sponsorship can occur through the school budget,
community business/leaders, and D.A.R.E. and/or M.A.D.D. funds. Checks for pictures are
payable to MMM, INC.
Upon confirmation of booking the assembly program a "sound set up" sheet will be
sent to the school, or community host.
Mark and Dexter's concern is for the positive personal, social and academic development of
students. Mark and Dexter present a non-religious motivational presentation on "Dreams."
The focus is on achievement! One of their key sound bytes: "when you work hard,
people will hear about you! Remember it's not where you're from, when you work it's where
you are going." Mark and Dexter's tragedies and triumphs have prepared them to
speak in your school.
